We are an online English academy specialized in individual teaching.

We work with children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 in an annual format. We don’t just teach them to speak English – we also make sure they keep up at school so that English class is no longer a worry.

Who we are?

Laura & Jack [Co-Founders] We are experienced educators with additional training in Design and Mentoring. Both of us have experienced firsthand the process of mastering a second language, and we know exactly where traditional teaching falls short.

We created Hello & Hola to open up a different category of learning with a clear objective: to combine high-level structure with a natural ability to connect with children and teenagers, teaching them to think, communicate, and navigate the world with confidence.

What we do?

We accompany each student from September to June, with the same teacher throughout the entire school year. Each student works according to a plan adapted to their pace, personality, and needs. Parents receive progress reports and have direct contact with the teacher.

The priority is real linguistic competence; exam preparation is incorporated only when the certificate serves a specific function (studies or work). We prepare the student for the right exam only if that clear goal exists. Until then, we develop their real command of the language.

How we do?

Everything starts with a conversation with the family. We agree on a day and time for a video call with you. We listen to your needs, concerns, and the reasons why you want your son or daughter to learn English. We also ask about their current and past experience with the language, both inside and outside of school.

Then we meet your child. We talk, do some activities together, and assess their real level. Only then do we design a personalized learning plan, adapted to their starting point and the goals you want to achieve.

Our two sons, aged 5 and 8, have been learning English for several years now, and we can see enormous progress. With each year, they speak, write and understand more, and most importantly, English is becoming something natural and increasingly easy for them. Jack is always well prepared for the lessons, teaches them in a very interesting way and with great dedication. His wonderful approach and the friendly atmosphere help the boys discover the language freely, without boring drills or stress. I don't think they are even aware of how much they are learning this way. We really could not have found a better place. We highly recommend it and look forward to every new lesson. ❤️

My 6-year-old son has been having English lessons for several months now, and I am truly very happy that we managed to find Jack. I have the feeling that they got along really well from the very beginning. Jack is able to keep his attention throughout the entire lesson, while my son learns while having fun and having a great time. I wholeheartedly recommend English lessons at Hello & Hola! Jack is an exceptionally friendly, patient and incredibly dedicated person, with extensive knowledge and a great approach to children. He was able to sense perfectly when a little more motivation was needed and when it was better to ease off and give the child a moment, always approaching them with understanding and calmness. One of his greatest strengths (among many others) is his empathy, understanding and ability to make genuine connections with children. All three of my children always looked forward to their lessons. Even on days when they were tired, discouraged or in a worse mood, he was able to interest them, engage them and make learning English enjoyable again. This is truly an enormous value, especially when working with children. I also had the opportunity to prepare for my B2 exam with Jack, which I passed with a very good result. His knowledge, the way he conveys information and his ability to adapt learning to the needs of the student made a huge impression on me. We have been working with Jack as my son's English teacher for over two years now, and I can wholeheartedly recommend him. Jack is extremely patient, conscientious, always punctual and very well prepared for the lessons. He stands out for his great kindness, thanks to which my son takes part in the lessons without any stress. I also really appreciate his openness and flexibility, as well as how easily he adapts lesson times to our schedule, which has often changed over the course of these two years.

I know many mums are sceptical about online lessons, but I felt that in our case it wouldn’t be a problem at all. Quite the opposite, it’s the perfect solution for us, because due to my work, it would be impossible for me to take him to and from a physical school twice a week. So I decided to give Hello & Hola a try because another mum recommended it to me, and now I’m the one recommending it to other friends. Ale absolutely loves it! For him, it’s simply having someone there, focused entirely on him for half an hour — playing, singing… (and then he spends the whole week humming the months-of-the-year song 😄), and I absolutely love seeing how much he enjoys it. We’ve been working with Jack for a year now, and we couldn’t be happier. It’s also incredibly reassuring to know that our child is not only enjoying the lessons, but also making progress and learning. 🙂♥️

Jack is a young, energetic and highly dedicated English teacher. He has a great approach to children, knows how to connect well with them and create a friendly atmosphere during lessons. He is patient, understanding and able to handle a variety of situations, including those that can sometimes be challenging.
